The remaining seat readings, including all five constituencies the earlier note said were outside the consolidation. Their figures exist and are recorded here, so Makeni and Mandevu were not lost after all: Kwacha 24,256, Chawama 33,180, Lusaka Central 37,758, Makeni 31,799 and Mandevu 52,329, together 179,322 votes. The arithmetic also says the consolidation already contained them. Every constituency now recorded adds up to 4,845,969, which is 56,081 below the declared valid total of 4,902,050, so the declared figure cannot have been missing 179,322 votes. Four seats still have no figures against them: Chadiza West, Lukusashi, Malambo West and Saise. Those four, together with the candidates left unread in earlier seats, are what the 56,081 covers. National totals stay as the Commission declared them and are not recomputed from the seats.

The Commission's consolidated figures for all fourteen candidates. 4,902,050 valid votes and 126,556 rejected, so 5,028,606 ballots cast against a register of 8,786,300, a turnout of 57.2%. Hichilema is given here as 2,965,326, which is 2,000 below the 2,967,326 announced with the overall total earlier. The consolidated list is the figure kept: the thirteen named candidates come to 4,901,950 and leave 100 for Chungu, who was again not read out, whereas the higher figure overshoots the announced valid total by 1,900 and cannot be right. This is the same 2,000 that separated the Commission's consolidated figure from the seat-by-seat tally at 135 constituencies. Five constituencies are not in these totals: Kwacha, Chawama, Lusaka Central, Makeni and Mandevu. Makeni and Mandevu were lost in the attacks on polling stations and the other three were not ready in time. Their combined figure of 165,224 could not change the outcome. Mwangala Zaloumis ascertained the votes and declared Hakainde Hichilema president-elect of the Republic of Zambia on 18 August 2026.

The five seats the consolidated total was ahead of the running tally. They come to 99,559 votes, against a gap of 99,722. Hichilema and Mundubile match the consolidated figure to the vote, as do nine of the thirteen candidates read out. The 163 that remain sit with Bwalya, Kalaba, Katuta and M'membe, and are the arrears of eleven earlier seats read out for fewer than fourteen candidates, so they are left in the national totals rather than assigned to any province.
